Veterans Day 2026 falls on Wednesday, November 11. Dozens of restaurants and retailers run offers that day -- free meals, percentage discounts, free haircuts -- but reporting on military discounts consistently finds the same gap: veterans use under 30% of the discounts they actually qualify for, and the shortfall is almost always about awareness, not eligibility.
Veterans Day discounts 2026 list, confirmed as of September 2026
Offers change by location and year, so this list reflects what businesses had published as of late September 2026: Buffalo Wild Wings (free boneless wings), Texas Roadhouse (free meal voucher), Chipotle (second entree free, 4-8pm), Target (10% off), The Home Depot and Lowe's (10% off), and free haircuts at Great Clips and Sport Clips. Confirm current terms with each business before you go, since conditions can shift closer to the date.
How much are Veterans Day discounts actually worth?
Added up, the offers above run somewhere in the $100+ range if you could realistically use all of them in one day -- which nobody does. The more useful question is which ones apply to your actual plans on November 11, and what that subset is worth.

Most discount roundups are just long lists to scroll through. The point of turning it into a checklist is that the total updates as you check off what you'll actually use, so you leave with a number instead of a wall of text.
