MONTHLY BUDGET
| Source | Amount |

Build a monthly budget with multiple income sources and expense categories, compare planned vs actual spending with auto-calculated totals and remaining balance, then print or save it as a PDF straight from your browser — no signup, no account, and nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
How it works
- Set the month/year label and add your income sources — name and amount
- Fill in planned and actual amounts for each expense category (add, rename, or remove categories freely)
- Totals and your remaining balance update live — click "Print / Save as PDF" and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog
Frequently asked questions
Is this budget planner template really free?
Yes. There's no signup, no account, and no subscription — everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded to a server.
Can I customize the expense categories?
Yes — add, rename, or remove any income source or expense category. The defaults (Housing, Transportation, Food, Savings, etc.) are just a starting point.
How do I save my budget as a PDF?
Click "Print / Save as PDF", then in the print dialog choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF" on Windows) as the destination instead of a physical printer.
Is my budget data stored anywhere?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser tab. Closing or reloading the page clears it — nothing is sent to or saved on a server.
Does this sync with my bank account?
No — this is a manual planning worksheet, not a bank-connected budgeting app. That's by design: there's no premium tier and no feature locked behind a paywall.
What does "remaining" mean at the bottom of the worksheet?
It's your total income minus your total actual expenses. A positive number means you're under budget; a negative number means you've overspent.
