PDF Split
Drop a PDF here or choose a file
Nothing is uploaded — pages are split in your browser.
Use commas and dashes: 1-3, 5, 8- (8- means page 8 to the end).
Split a PDF or pull out just the pages you need, right in your browser. Extract selected pages into one file, split by ranges into separate PDFs, or cut every N pages — multiple results download as one ZIP. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no watermark or signup.
How it works
- Choose or drop one PDF — the page count appears immediately
- Pick Extract pages, Split by ranges, or Split every N pages, and type ranges like 1-3, 5, 8- or set N with the slider
- Check the output list, then download a single PDF or a ZIP of all the parts
Frequently asked questions
How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?
Choose "Extract pages" and type the pages you want, for example 1-3, 5, 8-. They are copied into one new PDF in the order you typed them.
What is the difference between Extract and Split by ranges?
Extract puts all the chosen pages into a single PDF. Split by ranges makes one PDF for each comma-separated range, so 1-3, 4-6 gives two files.
Can I split a PDF every 5 pages?
Yes. Choose "Split every N pages" and set N with the slider. The last file holds whatever pages are left over.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and split by a library running in your browser, so it never leaves your device.
How are multiple files delivered?
When a split produces more than one PDF they are bundled into a single ZIP file, so your browser does not have to allow many separate downloads.
Why is my PDF rejected?
Password-protected files cannot be read without the password, and damaged files cannot be parsed. You will see a message saying which it is.
