Delete and reorder PDF pages in one pass, without uploading

A scanned form often comes with a blank cover sheet the fax machine added, or a signature page that ended up in the wrong spot. Fixing both at once — dropping the extra page and putting the rest in order — usually means two separate trips through an online tool. On Smallpdf's free tier, each of those trips counts against a hard cap of two tasks per day, so a delete-then-reorder job can eat half your daily allowance before lunch. iLovePDF's "Organize PDF" tool does combine delete and reorder in one screen, but per its own privacy policy the file is processed on its servers and kept for up to two hours before deletion, and its free tier runs ads. Adobe's web tool handles reordering for free, per comparisons of the two services, but pushes the download behind an account sign-in.

Delete pages from a PDF and reorder the rest at the same time

Every page in the file loads as a row labeled with its original page number, so you always know which page is which even after several changes. Click the × on any row to remove it — the delete button on the very last remaining page is disabled, so you can't empty the file by accident. Drag a row to a new spot, or use the ↑ and ↓ buttons if dragging is awkward on a touch screen, to set the final order before you download.

Reorder PDF pages online: what the original numbers tell you

Because each row keeps showing "Page 4 (now #2)" style labels as you work, it's easy to check the result before committing — you can see at a glance that the fourth page of the original document is about to become the second page of the new one, rather than guessing from a bare thumbnail. If you only need to pull a handful of pages into a fresh document rather than edit the whole thing, the PDF Split tool's page-range mode is a faster path.

Remove a page from a PDF free, with no signup required

The whole operation runs with a PDF library loaded on the page, so nothing is uploaded and there's no login wall between you and the download — click "Download edited PDF" and it saves immediately. There's no watermark on the output and no daily limit, so a document that needs three more rounds of edits after your first pass doesn't cost you anything extra.

Made a mistake? Start over without losing your place

"Start over" resets the whole file back to its original pages and order in one click, which is faster than re-uploading if you deleted the wrong page partway through. There's no per-page undo beyond that, so for a long, careful edit it's worth reviewing the row labels once before downloading.
