Frequently asked questions

Can I make colored or dark glass, not just white?

Yes — pick any tint color. We checked the original glassmorphism.com generator directly: its Settings panel has no color control at all, so its output is permanently rgba(255,255,255,...) white glass.

Do I need to log in?

No — everything works immediately with no account. We ran into an unsolicited login modal on a popular competitor's site while testing it, without clicking anything.

Can I see the exact value of each slider?

Yes — every slider shows a live number next to it and has a matching number input. We checked another competitor directly (css.glass): it has zero <input> elements on the page, so no slider value is visible anywhere.

Is any data sent to a server?

No — generation runs entirely in your browser.

Its Settings panel has Blur, Refraction, and Depth sliders — and nothing for color. The output is permanently rgba(255,255,255,...). A second competitor's sliders show no numbers at all.
