Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.
Does converting reduce image quality?
Not for JPG and PNG: the original file data is embedded as it is. Only images that need conversion (WebP, GIF, BMP) or a rotation fix are re-encoded as high-quality JPEG.
Will phone photos come out sideways?
No. The camera's rotation flag (EXIF orientation) is read, and photos that need rotating are corrected before they are placed on the page.
What page sizes and margins can I choose?
A4, US Letter, or a page that matches each image's shape (long side equal to A4). Margins run from 0 to 30 mm; images are scaled to fit inside the margins and centred.
Can I put several images on one page?
Not in this version — each image gets its own page. To combine several PDFs afterwards, use the PDF Merge tool.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
There is no limit from us, only your device's memory. Dozens of phone photos are usually fine; hundreds may be slow.
