Plan a podcast episode segment by segment: give each part a length and your talking points or script, and the tool works out running timestamps, estimates how long your script takes to read aloud, and warns when the episode outgrows your target length. Start from a solo, interview or two-host format, print it in large type for reading, or save as PDF. No signup, nothing uploaded.

How it works

  1. Enter the show, episode, host and guest details, set your target length and speaking pace, and optionally start from a solo, interview or two-host format
  2. Edit the segments: name, minutes and script or talking points — start and end timestamps and the read-aloud time update as you type
  3. Check the planned length against your target, pick a print text size, then click "Print / Save as PDF" or copy the script as text

Frequently asked questions

How do the timestamps work?

Each segment starts when the previous one ends. Add your minutes per segment and the tool shows running times from 0:00, so you can see where you should be at any point in the recording.

How does it estimate the read-aloud time?

It counts the words in each segment's script and divides by your speaking pace, 150 words per minute by default. Set the pace slider to how fast you really talk; it works best for scripted segments rather than loose talking points.

How long should each segment be?

There is no rule. A common shape is a short hook, an intro, one to three main segments and an outro with a call to action. The presets show typical splits you can adjust.

What do the colours on the total mean?

Green means the plan fits with room to spare, orange means you have used at least 90% of your target, and red means the segments add up to more than the target length.

Can I print it large enough to read while recording?

Yes. Choose Large or Extra large for the printed text size before you print or save the PDF.

Is my script stored anywhere?

No. It exists only in your browser tab, so save the PDF or copy the script before you leave the page.
