Isn't this the same as a mass calculator?
Yes — mass = density × volume is just the same density equation (ρ = m/V) solved for a different variable. Rather than splitting that into two separate tools, this one lets you pick which variable to solve for.
Why grams and cubic centimeters?
1 cm³ equals 1 mL, so density in g/cm³ is the most intuitive and commonly used unit in chemistry and physics classes — water is exactly 1 g/cm³, a handy reference point.
