We checked three Google Fonts pairing tools. Not one lets you preview your own text and copy the CSS code at the same time.

Before building our Google Fonts pair finder, we checked three free-ish alternatives directly, and each one was missing something.

Free font pairing, no signup

Fontpair.co lists "Ad-free experience" as a Pro-only perk — meaning the free tier carries ads — and full use requires creating an account ("Join for free"). Ours needs neither: no account, no ads, ever.

Font pairing with custom text preview, not just a demo profile card

We checked 10015.io's Google Fonts Pair Finder directly: it shows fixed sample content types like "Profile" and "Article" with pre-written copy — there's no field to type your own headline. Ours lets you type your actual heading and body text so you see the pairing the way it'll really appear, not a generic placeholder.

Google Fonts pair CSS code copy — the piece that was missing everywhere

Pair & Compare does let you edit the preview text directly, which is good — but its page never shows a CSS or @import snippet to copy. Across all three tools we checked, none combined custom text preview with a ready-to-paste code snippet. Ours shows both the <link> tag and font-family CSS right next to the live preview, with a one-click copy and a .css download.
