Frequently asked questions
Does this QR code expire?
No. Some "free" QR generators actually give you a time-limited dynamic code and later demand payment or deactivate it — real complaints about exactly this exist for more than one popular tool. This one only makes static QR codes: the value is encoded directly into the code itself, so it works forever regardless of any server or subscription.
How do I make a WiFi QR code?
Switch to the WiFi tab, enter the network name and password, and scanning the resulting code connects automatically — no typing the password by hand.
What does the error correction level do?
It lets the code still scan even if part of it is damaged, dirty, or covered. This tool uses Medium error correction by default, which holds up well on printed materials.
Can I add a logo to the middle of the code?
Not yet — that requires locking error correction to a higher level and recalculating which modules the logo can safely cover. It's on the roadmap as a separate feature rather than something we'd claim works today.
