List Randomizer

Scan to open this page

Free list randomizer / random name picker for raffles, giveaways, and team assignment — with a 'remove picked entries' toggle on by default, so drawing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in a row never repeats a winner. We checked two popular pickers (gigacalculator.com, randomlists.com) directly and neither documents this mode. No ads anywhere in the working area, by this site's design.

How it works

  1. Paste your list, one entry per line
  2. Set how many to pick, then click Draw
  3. With 'Remove picked entries' on, run Draw again for a 2nd, 3rd place without repeat winners

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw multiple winners without repeats across separate draws?

Yes — leave 'Remove picked entries from the list' checked (it's on by default) and each name drawn is removed from the pool, so running Draw again for 2nd or 3rd place can't repeat a winner. We checked two popular name pickers (gigacalculator.com, randomlists.com) directly and neither documents this mode.

Is the draw actually fair/random?

Yes — a standard unbiased Fisher-Yates shuffle, the same algorithm used for provably fair randomization.

Are there ads inside the tool?

No — this site keeps ads out of the tool's working area by design, unlike some ad-supported pickers.
