Money factor to apr calculator: explained, not built

Lease financing charges are quoted as a "money factor" — an unfamiliar small decimal like 0.00125 that most people have no intuition for. calculator.net's page explains that you can convert it to a more familiar APR by multiplying by 2,400 — but that's just a sentence of text. There's no input field where you type an APR and get the money factor calculated for you.

Lease depreciation fee finance fee: shown separately here

Every lease payment is really two charges combined: a depreciation fee (the value the car loses over the lease) and a finance fee (the interest-like charge on the capital tied up). The competitor we checked only shows an aggregate "Monthly Pay" and "Total Interest" — not the two components. This tool shows both, plus the money factor itself, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

Car lease payment calculator, with tax handled

Enter a sales tax rate and it's applied to the base monthly payment the way many states tax lease payments — added on top, not buried in a total you can't unpack.
