Car loan calculator with trade-in, done right
To its credit, calculator.net's version handles the details well — trade-in value, sales tax, title and registration fees, even a state selector for tax purposes. The output breaks out sales tax, total upfront payment, and total cost separately. That's a genuinely complete feature set, and we matched it: vehicle price, down payment, trade-in, sales tax rate, and fees all factor into the amount actually financed, with tax applied to (price minus trade-in) the way most trade-in tax credit states handle it.
Auto loan amortization schedule, but no way out
Where it falls short: the detailed month-by-month schedule is there to look at, but there's no CSV export or download option of any kind — you'd have to copy the numbers by hand if you wanted them in a spreadsheet.
