Bond price $0.00
Current yield 0%
PeriodCouponCash flow

Free bond calculator that works in both directions — price from yield, or yield to maturity from a price you'd actually pay. We checked calculator.net's bond calculator directly: it only computes price given yield, not the reverse, even though 'what yield am I actually getting at this price?' is the more common real-world question.

How it works

  1. Choose 'Find price' if you know the market yield, or 'Find yield' if you know the price
  2. Enter face value, coupon rate, years to maturity, and payment frequency
  3. See the result plus current yield and the full coupon cash flow schedule

Frequently asked questions

Can I find the yield if I already know the bond's price?

Yes — switch to 'Find yield' mode. We checked calculator.net's bond calculator directly and it only solves price from yield, not yield from price, even though buying a bond at a given price and wanting to know your actual yield to maturity is a very common question.

What's the difference between current yield and yield to maturity?

Current yield is just the annual coupon divided by the price you paid — a quick snapshot. Yield to maturity accounts for the full picture: all future coupons plus getting the face value back at maturity, properly discounted. Both are shown here.
